Clixsense is a survey rewards site that originally operated as a PTC and launched on February 2007 originally paying members to click on advertisements. On July 2017, ClixSense discontinued all PTC advertising from its site. The site pays members for participating in Market Reseach, Surveys, Offers and Tasks.

- Clixsense was launched in 2007 by Steve Girsky and John McConnell who were the owners of StormPay.
- Clixsense changed ownership in 2011 to James Grago who had previously been the CTO of Clixsense.
- On August 2016 Clixsense was hacked and user data was compromised, the site was restored in less than 24 hours.
- On July 2017, Clixsense discontinued PTC ads, Clixgrid, upgrade memberships, and its 8 level affiliate program.

Tasks Contests
ClixSense runs a weekly contest that pays users an additional total $100 per week for the top task workers.
Additional Bonus: ClixSense awards $5 for every $50 in tasks completed.
Tasks powered by CrowdFlower involve performing the following:
- Online web searches
- Text editing
- Translating text
- Identifying objects
- Other manual jobs.
