The Introduction of New Changes

When the Neobux.com Admin first announced the initial changes on 13 March 2011 regarding advertisement prices (click here), he mentioned of more changes to come...and now the time has arrived!

These new changes are only the beginning; more and even better changes are yet to be implemented. Due to the chaos that surrounded the introduction of the new advertisement prices, the Neobux Admin has decided to release all the changes in a gradual step-wise process to allow Neobux Members and Advertisers to understand the changes first before moving on to the next set of changes.

Reason behind these new changes:
Due to the history of the PTC Industry, the Neobux Admin (and his Neobux Team) have decided restore the former glory of the PTC Industry by revolutionising the PTC Industry once again! When Neobux was launched 3 years ago on 25 March 2008, Neobux revolutionised the PTC Industry by introducing the Rent-a-Ref System. Against all odds, Neobux survived this fickle industry and became the leader, but in the process, many PTC-wannabe owners copied the Neobux model and destroyed the idea of what a PTC website should represent by introducing bots into the rental system. Many were motivated by greed, only to simply make a quick buck for themselves.

To move away from this traditional "bux" model, and breaking boundaries of what a PTC site should actually be, the Neobux Admin has introduced a new concept: "More simplicity with more earnings for everyone".With time, Neobux will evolve into PTC site that requires less and less investment, eventually requiring none. A new generation of PTCs has been borne!

Before we move on to summarise the latest changes, Neobux is offering celebratory discounts (which will be available until 28 March, 16:00 server time):

Newest Changes:

(1) Simplified pricing for rented referrals: Standard Members now have a permanent 10% discount when renting referrals (includes initial renting prices, renewal fees and Autopay fees).

(2) NeoPoints: You can now earn points for doing tasks. At this stage you can only earn NeoPoints for viewing advertisements. Later you will be able to earn NeoPoints for other tasks; once you have accumulated sufficient points, you can trade in your points for cash in your Rental Balance or exchange it for a Neobux service.

(3) Commissions from direct referrals: You can now earn commission if any of your Direct Referrals make a purchase. You will earn 1% of your Direct Referral's purchase, and the commission will be credited to your Main Balance after 90 days. In order to receive commission, the following rules must apply:

• The purchase has to be made using any of our 3 payment processors.
• The purchase has to be made in an amount of $10 or higher.
• It will be available for purchases of any kind of service except for advertisement services.
• The commission will be credited to your main balance 90 days after the purchase.
• A commission will be canceled if the respective purchase is reversed for any reason and restored if the reversed purchase is also restored.
• A commission won't be credited after the 90 days if the user that made the purchase is not your referral anymore or has his/her account suspended.
• A commission won't be processed if the purchased service is under a promotional period or with a temporary discount.

(4) Fixed Advertisements for advertisers: Fixed Advertisements have been released.

For advertisers: You have the option to show your Fixed Advertisement to Standard Members only or all members (including upgraded members). If you are interested in purchasing a Fixed Advertisement, contact Support for further information.

For Neobux Users: Now you will have the opportunity to view more than 4 and 9 guaranteed Fixed Advertisements per day, for Standard and Golden Members respectively (higher for members who have a Golden Pack). The number of Fixed Advertisements will vary depending on the advertisers, but it will be no less than 4 or 9 Fixed Advertisements. Fixed Adverts shown by Neobux will be displayed in orange, while Fixed Adverts from advertisers will displayed in pink.

If you have Rented Referrals, you will only receive commission from those referrals who click Fixed Adverts by advertisers who have displayed their ad for at least 90 consecutive days.

Summary of all the previous changes (since 13/03/10):

• The guaranteed/permanent daily ads (Standard Exposure Ads) of $0.01 each have been converted to Fixed Exposure Ads of $0.001 for Standard Members. Upgraded Members have their same click value ($0.01) as before for Fixed Adverts.
• Reduction in advertising prices for advertisers by 10 to 35% depending on the type of exposure.
• Introduction of 3 higher new click packs for advertisers.
• More extra ads (Micro, Mini, Standard and Extended Exposure Ads) shown randomly throughout the day depending on the advertiser (as a result of the cheaper advertising prices). These ads are separate from the daily guaranteed Fixed Adverts.
• The Direct Referral Click Value has decreased (for Fixed Adverts):

  - Standard members: $0.0005

  - Golden members: $0.005

  - Golden members with a Golden Pack: $0.01

  If a Direct Referral clicks an ad other than a Fixed Ad, you will earn the corresponding amount as earned previously.

• You can now view Expired Adverts on the View Advertisements page. The Expired Ads are ads which are no longer available, but have been displayed in the last 24 hours. You can only view the last 100 Expired Adverts. Expired Ads can be clicked, but you do not earn any money from them.
